Congressional candidate Jim Bennett will field voter questions. Bennett, running as the United Utah Party's first candidate, is seeking the Third District seat vacated by Jason Chaffetz.
“I am eager to meet with additional Utah County voters to explain why I represent their positions and values more closely than the other candidates do,” Bennett said.
“I find so many who are tired of the extreme positions of both Democrats and Republicans,” he said. “The United Utah Party and I offer practical solutions from the middle that represent the political mainstream.”
Bennett’s early polling success has secured for him a podium later this month in a debate sponsored by the Utah Debate Commission. He is the first third-party candidate ever admitted to a UDC debate.
