The Republicans want to promote the convention system as the way to nominate candidates and then they want to charge ordinary people for participating in it. This is why the convention system needs to be changed. The point is to exclude and not to include.

 

United Utah conventions will encourage, not discourage primaries in order to promote public involvement in the nomination process. No fees to keep people out.
