Unite for Term Limits is an initiative that the party applauds and supports. Under current Utah law, any elected state official can serve indefinitely. This creates several problems, such as career politicians, resistance from party officials to challenger candidates within the party, and above all, an incumbency advantage that tips the scale against new office holders and ideas.
