Executive Director Job
United Utah is seeking an Executive Director for the Party. The position of Executive Director is part time as an independent contractor, starting immediately.
Location: Many of the duties can be accomplished online at home, but office space is available in Lindon, Utah County, for work and occasional meetings.
Requirements: We are looking for someone with political experience, and with managerial and fundraising skills. A qualified applicant would be committed to the platform principles of the United Utah Party and be familiar with the history of the Party (for details, see www.unitedutah.org/about).

Job description:
The Executive Director will report to the Party Chair and will work with the approval of the Executive Committee of the Party. The Executive Director assists the Party officers in the supervision of the Party, which includes helping with strategic planning and implementation of Party programs.
The Executive Director will coordinate and oversee media relations of the party in conjunction with the Party Chair. This includes working with the Communications committee to create the Party image and boost the party’s public presence. All communications will be subject to the review of the Party Chair and Executive Committee.
The Executive Director will direct, supervise, and participate in fundraising efforts for the Party, which includes identifying and implementing fundraising strategies, establishing connections, making appointments with potential donors, and generally working closely with the Finance Committee to raise funds for the party. The Executive Director also will propose and monitor the annual budget of the party, as well as supervise legal campaign finance reporting. The Executive Director will work closely with the Party Chair and Party Executive Committee to set appropriate and mutually-agreed-upon fundraising goals and work to achieve them.
The Executive Director will coordinate the building of the party organization by helping create county, legislative district, and precinct organizations. The Executive Director will work with the chairs of the committees of the party to help support their work. The Executive Director also will supervise party staff/volunteers.
The Executive Director will help to identify, recruit, and train candidates for office, in coordination with the Party Chair and the Executive Committee.
The Executive Director will supervise the planning and implementation of the biannual caucus meetings and the annual state party convention each spring.
